Just to remind you, they are actually figures of speech in which the latter part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected and is frequently humorous. They\u2019re all attributed to well known people, from Groucho Marx to Eleanor Roosevelt<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve got a suggestion for something to watch on tv. Rake. It\u2019s an Australian comedy drama with just about everything the BBC USED TO BE GOOD AT, but no longer is. Their addiction to liberal elite values and political correctness have really killed off stuff like this. Shame, because Rake is brimming over with humour, drama and social comment. There\u2019s not a bad performance in it and the director is so brilliant he\u2019s nowhere to be seen! Bingeworthy telly, 40 episodes over 5 series and it never runs out of steam.<\/p>\n
